چکیده

Solid biofuel is considered as a possible substitute for coal in household heat production because of the available and sustainable raw materials, while NOx emissions from its combustion have become serious problem. Nitrogen-containing compounds pyrolysis products important effects on conversion fuel-N into NOx-N. Understanding these converting pathways environmentally friendly use biomass fuels. The nitrogen migration during acid leached maize straw at various temperatures was investigated this study. Thermal gravimetric analysis X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to investigate performances thermal decomposition samples. main functional groups biochar N-A (amine-N/amide-N/protein-N), pyridine-N, pyrrole-N, according findings. most common gaseous precursor NH3, which produced primarily pyridine-N pyrrole-N. formation HCN mainly came secondary heterocyclic-N high temperatures. Before temperature increased 650 °C, more than half stored biochar. At same temperature, acid-leached yielded gas-N char-N biomass. highest yield 76.39 wt% obtained (AMS) 350 °C. Low acid-leaching treatment can help decrease release stable char structure, providing support reducing nitrogenous pollutant fuel.

Effects of Alkali and Alkaline Earth Metals on N-Containing Species Release during Rice Straw Pyrolysis

Abstract: To study the effects of inherent and external alkali and alkaline earth metallic species (AAEMs, i.e., K, Ca and Mg) on the behavior of N-containing species release during rice straw (RS) pyrolysis, different pretreatments were applied in numerous experiments. Results indicate that ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen cyanide (HCN) are the major N-containing species and that the yields of isocy...

Comparison between leached metakaolin and leached diatomaceous earth as raw materials for the synthesis of ZSM-5

Inexpensive raw materials have been used to prepare ZSM-5 zeolites with SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratios in the range 20 - 40. Kaolin or Bolivian diatomaceous earth was used as aluminosilicate raw materials and sodium hydroxide and n-butylamine were used as mineralizing agents and template. Dealumination of the raw materials by acid leaching made it possible to reach appropriate SiO2/Al2O3 ratios and to...

Yield and nitrogen leaching in maize field under different nitrogen rates and partial root drying irrigation

Irrigation water is limiting for crop production in arid and semi-arid areas. Furthermore, excess nitrogen (N) application is a source of groundwater contamination. Partial root drying irrigation (PRD) can be used as water saving technique and a controlling measure of groundwater N contamination. The objectives of this investigation were to evaluate the effect of ordinary furrow irrigation (OFI...
